DOWN! In short, I felt that Quick felt defeated or depressed during the shootout. This isn't just a hunch, I'm looking at his body language and comparing it to his baseline.
Second point is regarding Gagne. I haven't seen a damn THING from him all season long. He doens't play like he wants the job. He's just a body on the ice. He looks and plays depressed. One time this game he chased after the puck. That's IT. I've been paying close attention to his game the last few games.
These two previous comments aren't inspired by the Kings' loss. Just two small observations about players' attitude. It could be a temporary thing, and I hope it is. Because we need Gagne--and NOT on the third line. I'm sorry but Clifford didn't do **** the last couple games on the first line. He doesn't add anything to that line at all. We need to go back to what we had before.
22 shots per game and one goal is disturbingly similar to pre-trades 2011-2012 Kings. Players' attitudes need to improve, they need to play like they give a ****, and doing stupid **** like putting Gagne on the 3rd line and Clifford on the 1st should be avoided. What the **** is this, Terry Murray line swapping? F this ****
