O you guys are big babies!
We had the puck in their zone for 85% of the game. We played a really solid game, Nashville was backed into their zone all night. Rinne is a really good goalie playing for a team that has good defensive structure. This game was never going to be home run derby. The shootout is what the shootout is - Bettmans way to make a hockey game have more closure. Unfortunately we couldn't tuck in one more goal than the opponent in the Shootout. I am not at all discouraged with our game. We will get the next one.

I thought muzzin looked pretty good. Held a number of difficult bouncing pucks in at the blue line. Didn't try and get too cute with the puck. Reminds me of martinez.

The music guy needs to go deeper into the catalog. The "Cygnus X-1 Power Play" would have us at the top of the league in PP% in no time!

Somebody else said it...Nashville played a 5 man power play defense. Good strategy against a mediocre offense.

I thought the game was pretty intense. Much better than the NYR/PIT game they played here just before it. Now that was boring.

These two previous comments aren't inspired by the Kings' loss. Just two small observations about players' attitude. It could be a temporary thing, and I hope it is. Because we need Gagne--and NOT on the third line. I'm sorry but Clifford didn't do **** the last couple games on the first line. He doesn't add anything to that line at all. We need to go back to what we had before.

22 shots per game and one goal is disturbingly similar to pre-trades 2011-2012 Kings. Players' attitudes need to improve, they need to play like they give a ****, and doing stupid **** like putting Gagne on the 3rd line and Clifford on the 1st should be avoided. What the **** is this, Terry Murray line swapping? F this ****

I agree about Quick. I noticed that too. Normally he is money in the shootouts but last night was one of his worst. He was deeper in his net then normal, wasn't challenging, and kind of looked like he was taking shootouts at the end of practice. What was it, 4 goals in 8 shots?

As for a game, that was a game they really need to win, could have won and should have won. They carried they play the entire game except for a minute in OT, had the advantage on PP's. Looking ahead before this game, the next 4 games appear to be their easiest part of the entire schedule. They need to pick up wins in these next 3 because it gets a lot tougher from then on. Ducks have been playing decent puck and finding ways to win and get points. Hopefully the Kings can catch them a little tired tomorrow.
