I think RinkRat rides the Metro. A few seasons ago my dad told me he ran into a Kings fan on the Metro after a game who "ran some kind of kings website". I assume it was RR since I don't know of any other popular Kings websites.

Agreed, Love the trains, just wish there were more. My GF lives in Los Feliz by the Sunset/Vermont Red Line station. We always take the red line to games and bars downtown.
Free parking, no lines to the bathroom, cheap beer and garlic fries at my house. I'll take it.
I don't know why more people don't do this.
...like myself. I've done it once.
Has anyone used the Santa Monica Rapid 10 bus line? It looks like the best way to get there from WLA/SM adjacent.
Does it take longer during rush hour on weekdays or is it the same as weekends?
How late does it run on weeknights?
Just as an FYI, you don't really need to transfer to the blue line if you don't mind walking 3-4 blocks. It may drop you closer to take the blue, but like you said, there's missed trains and all that. You can exit 7th st./Metro and you come up at the corner of Figueroa and 7th. Then just shoot down Figueroa to Staples. If you've ever parked at one of the Joe's Parking lots on 8th and Fig, its only one block further.
has anyone left form the Norwalk station? If so, how is it?
