I'll be taking the Metrolink in from Claremont. I can get a weekend pass for $10.00 and it will cover transfer to the Red Line as well. Considering that it is about the same as the parking fee near Staples, and I can walk to the station in Claremont from my house, it seems like the best way to go.

I'd take the fly away if you are coming from LAX assuming there is one that fits your schedule.. The train is gonna take you longer and the bus picks you up right at the terminal and takes the carpool lane there. Plus there are less crack heads.

I always just walk from 7th/metro instead of catching the Blue line. Its a pleasant walk down Fig.

I think it has well over 1000 spaces, and on a Sunday parking shouldn't be a problem.

Florence should work just as well as any other. There's also the Union Station garage off of Vignes, which will cost you $6 for the whole day, but it's a secure garage, so some people like that.

Hope everyone had an easy time getting to the game. I took the Expo Line and it was full of Kings fans!

I took the red line from NoHo station, went smoothly, the ride back was cramped and gloomy though. Still beats driving in that traffic.

We took the bus from WLA / SM and it was very quick and easy. Will definitely do it again!

    Thanks for all the tips...

Was surprised at how much I liked the metro. I'll probably do it again.

Default If there were ever a weekend to take Metro to the Kings game, it would be this one.

took the blue line, no prob. my kid LOVED it. she kept saying "more choo choo" after we got home. it wasn't crowded at all on the way in but it was on the way back and a nice gentleman gave his seat up for me because I had my toddler with me.
    thanks for the help everybody!
