Why unfortunately? He's never going to play for this team. If he makes it in this league, it will be as a top six center. That position won't be available for the next 5-7 years.

Something that really bothers me about the NHL is the lack of transparency regarding injuries. This sort of thing doesn't happen in other sports. How many various reports have we had just in one day regarding Greene's injury? All the Kings said is that he's on IR and they're "hoping for the best but preparing for the worst." Really???? I understand it's too soon to give a definitive diagnosis, but this "upper body injury," "lower body injury," "middle body injury" crap is just lame.
