So who do you send down instead of him? The purpose of waiving him was to send him to Manchester. He was obviously 9th or 10th on the depth chart. Why do you keep him up?

I understand it's too soon to give a definitive diagnosis, but this "upper body injury," "lower body injury," "middle body injury" crap is just lame.
    Why?
Do you want everyone knowing your injury? Used to be that teams would blatantly lie about injuries so the competition wouldnt purposely try to aggravate the injury.
NCAA started doing this as well.

Um sorry ... wrong. Cue Bill Belichek ... All professional sports are the same in under reporting injuries.

As a fan, I am not sure it is that important to know what the injury is and how long the player will be out. I personally do not change my pregame habits when a player goes down. I look at it as when the player is healthy enough to play he will.

It is **** like this happening that makes you truly realize how amazingly lucky we were to experience the dominating Cup run last post-season.

I'm getting wood for Jay-Bo again, and he's not playing real great in Calgary.
at the draft party a couple of years ago, and under a considerable haze, i heard Birdman yell out the following (about 4 or 5 times, i think) - "don't marry yourselves to players!" he went on to reiterate that idea more than once on the boards, and i believe it to be absolutely sage.

Very true, I spent most of last season waiting for Williams to get injured...How times change.
