I remember this one time, I was going to buy a car from a private party, and his ride had a Kings license plate frame. Cool enough, and he almost had the deal sealed until he made a grave mistake! The frame had the logo from the early days of Staples Center (Purple, Silver/Black, and white colors with the crest and crossing hockey sticks). His mistake was telling me he got that frame when Gretzky played with the Kings at The Great Western Forum. I dont know why he felt compelled to do this, but how could I trust him after that? True story! This happened just yesterday but I still remember it. Uh huh! Really a true story
