Have the Kings sold out their season tickets ?

I don't know if any of you ever liked " Just Drop " it on Facebook but the guy behind it is clearly an LA KINGS hater.He claims the Kings didn't truly sell out games last season,doesn't have a strong fan base etc..He claims the Kings are nowhere near the quota for selling out season tickets.Who knows he might be right on that but he sure had some negative things to say about the Kings and their fans on his page.What an ass and his followers also chimed in about how lousy of a fan base the Kings have.

Well, he's not completely wrong. While the Kings can statistically say they sold out 37 of the 39 home games last year, only about 10 of them during the regular season were truly filled. There are two categories... Sellout (tickets sold) and Legit Sellout (tickets sold and people actually care enough to go to the game). You can see that the Kings are not sold out. It's only the Die Hards, 300 (First 2 rows), 300 center, and 200 (Shoot high once)

Anyway, who cares what people say. There will be haters everywhere. Just look at the attitude Kings fans have towards Ducks fans. It's the same thing everywhere you go for any team.

For some reason I am remembering the Kings saying they only have around 200 season ticket seats left *. I am assuming that they only sell a certain # of seats as season tickets so they have seats left for corporate sponsors, giveaways, kings owned seats, and of course single game purchasers.

Sorry Mel, if all tickets are sold, it's a sellout. There's only one type of sellout. But yes, haters are gonna' hate.

remember also that premier seats are seats for Lakers/Clippers and Kings. Lot's of companies that are Laker fans buy the seats and either give away or throw away Kings seats. I get several games a year from a friend whose company often lets them rot. Of course they never have Laker tickets for me but those games usually boring anyway.

From what my rep said, yes, there are still season tickets available. It's only certain areas that have sold out.

Which is pretty much what my friend does, he couldn't care less about the Kings, the Lakers are his love. If there is nobody in his company that wants the seats we get them, which means we get to see a few games a year in on the glass seats for free...But it sucks at times like this when we know someone will want to go to the home opener.

There are still season seats available (about 200) that will (of course) include opening night.

die hard seats are sold the **** out
