Have you Ever Liked another Team?
As the title says, have you ever liked another team?
I, for one, used to be a huge Thrashers fan. When they moved, I just couldn't root for Winnipeg. So I decided to go for the Kings because they seemed to have the most potential at the time. Apparently I was pretty right.

It's not bigamy if your wife/team dies.

When I was younger I didn't decide what team to like yet, it could have been anyone but Toronto Maple Leafs. I followed St. Louis and thought, okay maybe I'll be a St. Louis fan. But I was never in love with St. Louis. Then I received a gift (Kings sweater) from my godfather. He told me about the Kings (I didn't watch too many Kings games since I'm on the east coast) and then Toronto vs. LA happened in 93 and I fell in love with LA. LA sucked for a while, but still loved them, never lost hope.
I did like Pittsburgh during the Mario days. I also have an east coast team I love to watch and that's the Flyers, because of the Kings connections and I love Simmer.

I liked the Quebec Nordiques during the time of Mats Sundin and Ron Tugnutt. The team was not very good, had cool jerseys, and were French Canadian...how could I NOT like them? I even have Quebec jersey and media guide from the old Slap Shop. When the team moved to Colorado, I was like, "Meh."

Yes, when I was a kid. Typical kid bandwagoning.
Bruins in 70, Blackhawks because of Tony Esposito, Hull, and Mikita, Rangers in 72 (Went to a Kings hockey school, Ed Giacomin was my goalie coach), Flyers when they won their two Cups, Canadiens and Islanders with their dynasties.
There are many current teams that I like, mainly because I have friends who are fans of them.
Now I really enjoy watching good hockey by any team. We are fortunate that the Kings are now a great team to watch.
