Those canuck fans are crazy. They set the city on fire when they lost to Boston... Be carefull
We got our tickets from Stubhub. Paid a grip for them but we figured it's a once in a lifetime trip so lets splurge. We walked to the arena from our hotel .... about a 10 minute walk down Robson St. Hope you like Starbucks and Japanese food. Every other place on Robson was either Starbux or Japanese.
Have fun...
We are the Samurai, the warrior elite who protect and serve. Armed and armored from head to toe, masters of our personal weapons and bound by Honor, Duty, Loyalty, and Honesty. We walk the long path into the places society would prefer forgotten, and chase those demons that most would run from screaming in fear. We are the Samurai.
Been there a couple of times for Kings/Canucks games and had a great time. That is about average for prices. I shopped Stubhub and found lower bowl tickets about $150 each which was slightly over face value. Also the Gaslight area is about a 5-10 minute walk from Rogers Arena. There are lots of dining options there if you are not into arena food.
-lol gotta love LA fans, "rangers suck" chant was epic.

The skytrain stole my money and I broke the sink at the Vancouver Museum of Art.
So I say we're even.
I don't know how long you will be there. Gastown is not far from the arena. There is a brewery there called Steamworks. Pretty good beers and excellent food. If you have an extra day or two you can go out to Vancouver Island to Victoria. You can take the ferry, or you can take the float plane out there (it's more expensive but you get there in about 30 minutes and the view is awesome). The docks for the planes are just north of Gastown where the cruise ships dock, which you can see from the brewery. The ferries would be a long busride from many parts of t he city, and the ferry ride is about 2 hours, then a 30 minute busride to downtown Victoria.
Once in Victoria check out Spinnakers Brewpub. GREAT beer and food, and it also has a bed and breakfast attached. Nice view of the harbor, which is where the float planes land.
Hope that helps. Enjoy!
