Has anyone seen a game there? Any ideas for getting tickets at a reasonable price? Who else is going? So far it looks like tickets are $130 to $250 a piece depending on where I want to sit.

That is pretty average for Rogers Arena.
That sounds pretty reasonable to me... If you've never been to Vantown before, it's a great city. Beautiful, lots of things to see and do and food is great. If you ski, go up to Whistler/Blackcomb for some of the best skiing in the world.
Rogers Arena is ok, but I don't think it's as nice as Staples. It has better sight lines because there are less tiers of luxury boxes separating the upper/lower tiers, and the corridors in the concourse are kind of narrow, though, so it gets congested during periods and at the end of the game.
Have fun!
Don't forget to pack a tinfoil hat, so you can blend in with the natives. Also helps if you practice a holier-than-thou attitude.
Who thinks it's reasonable to pay this much for 3 hours of entertainment, be it a hockey game or something else? I mean, jeez. It's hockey. By virtue of what it is, they shouldn't be able to charge more than a jackson to watch a game. Anywhere.
Also understand Vancouver is incredibly expensive in general and the demand for tickets if extremely high. Simply supply and demand. According to Forbes an average ticket is $158. 5th highest in all of NHL. Canadians take their hockey seriously. As 4 out of 5 of the most expensive teams are Canadian.
