I don't think it's that odd. They've signed their name that way thousands of times and they're used to it. My cousin played summer league baseball when he was in college and they had to do autograph signings at schools and Subway and the stadium and things like that. He said by the end of the summer he was signing his number too when he had to sign the little credit card terminal after buying something.
Didn't think about that! Seems logical that your number becomes a part of your signature after a few years...

Its assistant coach John Stevens. I thought it looked familiar but couldnt put my finger on it until I saw it today
Thanks again for trying to help, but I'm not totaly convinced. For example look at the first letters, they start from opposite directions.
