Default Hindsight=20/20...How BADLY Do You Regret...

Thinking back on the cup run, I had two chances to buy tickets to the final round. The first ticket would of costed me $850, the second would have set me back over a grand. That was money I didn't have to spend at that time (not incorporated into my budget). But I could have pulled it from future entertainment and even food budgets. I could have eat ramen noodles for a couple months and canceled my cable tv, and other cutbacks in other areas, even cut back on driving to save gas. I keep thinking about that last series, and imagining myself at the arena, watching the boys hoist the cup. I regret it bigtime. I should have been there, no matter what it cost. Instead all I got to do was watch the games at some restaurant in Pasadena with a couple die-hard buddies, go to the parade, and the rally. I wonder when my next chance will be. It could be 44 more years...

I was fortunate enough to go to games 3 and 6 of the final.I spent over 1K on my tickets total. It was worth every penny. My only regret is that I stupidly tired to record the last seconds and the cup ceremony instead of just putting down the iphone and enjoying the moment.

Didn't have the money for tickets, therefore I have no regrets.

I regret that my source for free tickets to sporting events since 1993 did things like take his architect to the games but I still got playoff tickets this year so I can't complain since I didn't have the money.

It's hard to regret anything about that whole playoff run.

I was desperate for tickets, signed up on Kings website for a chance to buy tickets and when all hope was lost I got a call from a ticket rep offering me 2 tickets to Game 3 for $325 each. I jumped on it right away and got to go with a friend. It was the best game i had ever been attending a game. All in all I went to 1 game of every series and spent more money than i could afford but I HAD to do it.

I went to every game of the Finals except game 5. I don't regret it at all.

Went to games 3 and 6 of the Stanley Cup Final. Having shared season tickets all year (and the previous two), I get a very reasonable rates. Zero regrets.

How about the people who went for all these years and then decided to sell their finals tickets for the $? Think they regret it now?

BTW, I paid full price for a ticket for wifey on June 11. I had no doubt it was gonna be special and she had to be there. It was worth every cent!

To add on my previous post, seeing the Kings win the Stanley Cup in person after rooting for them for 28 years, was priceless. It's hard to put a dollar amount on the greatest sports memory of my by far and away (seeing Gibson's HR in person is a distant second).
