If your talking about the Mike Danton book, I think i got it from amazon.ca, they shipped it to the states. I also read the Probert book, it wasnt nearly as good but interesting too. Boys of Winter (about 1980 USA team) was a good, short read. The Game by Dryden was okay, but didnt like it as much as the previous books mentioned...

I've never heard of this one. Does it go into the Bobby Orr deal with the Blackhawks and how Eagleson screwed Orr over....?

I really liked Kerry Fraser's book. Don't remember the title right now, but gives lots of insight into what is said between players and refs on the ice and managing games they don't get out of hand.

It's been awhile since I read it but I'm sure there's stuff in there. I know it talks about how some of the players were screwed out of pension and disability payments. Like he would charge the players a fee saying he was fighting the insurance companies to get disability money for them, when the insurance companies weren't trying to dispute the claims. So then when the claim got paid out, the players ended up with very little of the money.

The NHLPA was pretty much paying for his lifestyle too, like for clothes, personal travel not related to NHLPA business, an apartment, etc.

Read "The Code" , like Vegas Hockey mentioned, I second it.

It taught me so much I didn't know about Hockey, and Enforcers.
