I am looking for a good book to read about of course the sport we all love hockey. I wanted to get some suggestions please. I saw their are books about Gretzky and la kings called hockeywood, or A Season of Loss, a Lifetime of Forgiveness: The Dan Snyder and Dany Heatley Story.
and the list can go on. Just wanted to know what books that might be good to read.

I couldnt put down The Lost Dream :story of Mike Danton... highly suggest it, but it is very disturbing. If you dont remember, Mike Danton was a player for St Louis who got caught trying to hire a hit man to kill his agent/ex-coach. The story behind it is pretty amazing...

"Playing With Fire" by Theo Fluery is pretty good. I hated him a lot less after reading it. Also, Probert's autobiography was pretty good.

I am trying to find a copy of that book, sounds like a good one to read. Where did you buy it? Says only amazon Canada has it for sale. Nothing came up for Barnes and noble or even eBay.

I prefer "Playing With Fire" because I loved Fluery as a player but hated him as a person. I wanted some insight into his personality, and this book gives it. "Tough Guy" also shows Bob Probert as a person, but there was nothing too revealing about him in his book.
