    Default Hockey Fest, Alumni Game vs Russian Stars and Royal Feast

    The Los Angeles Kings – the 2014 Stanley Cup Champions -- will host two special events in El Segundo on Sunday, September 14, as part of LA Kings Hockey Fest ’14, presented by Pizza Hut, the Kings’ annual festival celebrating the game of hockey.

    A special LA Kings Alumni Game presented by Toyota will see former Kings favorites versus the Medvedev All Star team at the Toyota Sports Center immediately following Hockey Fest.

    Players representing the Kings team will include (subject to change): Luc Robitaille, Nelson Emerson, Craig Johnson, Mike Donnelly, Jim Fox, Daryl Evans, Ron Duguay, Charlie Simmer, Rob Blake, Sean O’Donnell, Jaroslav Modry, Mike O’Connell and Jamie Storr. Rogie Vachon and Glen Murray are slated to serve as Honorary Coaches.

    Players from the Russian Stars team will include (subject to change): Alexey Yashin, Slava Fetisov, Alexei Kasatonov, Val Bure, Pavel Bure, Darius Kasparitis, Vladie Malakhov, Alex Kovalev, Andrei Kovalenko and Tony Esposito.

    Noon – 12:45 PM: Hollywood Game Night (featuring select Kings players)

    1:00 PM – 1:45 PM: My Day with the Cup (Bob Miller Hosts / featuring select Kings players)

    2:00 PM – 2:45 PM: Stories from the Road (Jim Fox Hosts / featuring select Kings alumni)

    3:00 PM: Hockey Fest Ends

    4:00 PM – DOORS OPEN for special Alumni Game (more details below)

    4:30 PM - Alumni Game Begins
    Hockey Fest is the centerpiece of a series of Kings events that will kick off the highly-anticipated 2014-15 season.

    On Saturday, September 13, the LA Kings 5k Run-Walk takes place. The proceeds from this annual event, starting in Rivera Village in South Redondo Beach, will benefit the Kings Care Foundation and the Hydrocephalus Association. The event also includes a Family Fun Walk featuring appearances by LA Kings players. McDonald’s is a proud sponsor of the LA Kings 5K Run. Visit LAKings.com/5k to register.

    On Sunday, September 14, following Hockey Fest, a special LA Kings Alumni Game presented by Toyota will see former Kings favorites versus a Russian All Stars squad at the Toyota Sports Center. Players representing the Kings team will include (subject to change): Luc Robitaille, Nelson Emerson, Craig Johnson, Mike Donnelly, Jim Fox, Daryl Evans, Ron Duguay, Charlie Simmer, Rob Blake, Sean O’Donnell, Jaroslav Modry, Mike O’Connell and Jamie Storr. Tickets for the game are $150 and a ticket also includes an all-access day pass to Hockey Fest. Capacity for this game is limited to 500 spectators.

    Later that evening, the Kings will host a Royal Feast at Salt Creek Grille in El Segundo beginning at 6:30 p.m. Kings players, alumni and broadcasters will be on hand as Salt Creek Grille prepares signature dishes. There will also be silent and live auctions featuring Kings and NHL memorabilia. Cost per ticket is $500 with all proceeds benefiting the Kings Care Foundation. The ticket includes a seat for the Alumni Game earlier in the day, as well as an all-day pass to Hockey Fest. Ticket for the Royal Feast are very limited.

    On Monday, September 15, the Kings will host their annual charity Golf Tournament at Pacific Palms Conference Resort - One Industry Hills Parkway in City of Industry. All proceeds from the event – which will feature a Shotgun Start and a post-game Cocktail Reception complete with a Live & Silent Auction and Awards Ceremony – benefit Kings Care Foundation and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
