Thread: The Hockey News Magazine Yearbook 2012-13

Was at Barnes and Noble. I bought a copy and started reading. Guess who they picked to win the Stanley Cup 2012- 13 ? The Vancouver Canucks. I have been laughing for the past 2 hours. My copy has Quick and Lundqvist on the cover.

Im returning my issue. Impulse purchase and it was terrible.

Just picked up one today too for 10 dollars , I should have just took their special offer of 28 issues for 40 dollars since I was a customer for 5 years until last year they had a sweet offer might take it hmmmm.

I wasn't to happy with the issue either.

They have been winning it for the past 3 years.

I've been reading THN since 1996, and I have only seen them correctly predict a Stanley Cup finalist once.

Groupon had a 2 year special for 27$ Now i enjoy a quality mag every month!

I haven't read the Hockey News on a regular basis since I was in high school and it was still on newspaper print.

Preseason magazines are usually garbage. They go to print in mid July, so if later moves are made, they're not in them.

Although this year, I might have to buy the official NHL yearbook because it usually has the best pictures from the year before.

I have subscribed for decades. They sit on my mag stand in my bathroom. Excellent reading while I am ....passing.... time.

Man that was the last time I has a subscription with any magazine. Something about that grey ish white paper that a tree died to make just so much better than the magazine style paper.
