One thing I have noticed during this lockout, it is a little easier to take being a Kings fan. We seem to be more to relaxed and content this lockout. If the Kings would have reached the conference finals and lost we would all be jumping up and down to get them back on the ice because they were so close. Since the Kings won the cup the lockout is just a little easier to swallow. We all want them on the ice but isn't it nice without the stress for now.
How do you think Ranger fan and Canuck fan is handling things? They think they are a player away. LOL!

I care, but what the heck can I do about it? So, no sense in complaining what I cannot control.

I'd rather just have the season cancelled now than have already paid for season ticket credit going to see half a season of crappy hockey with teams of guys not in NHL game shape.

I can tell you honestly, the NHL has lost me... I'll still watch all the kings games on tv and listen to radio. I love my kings regardless...
HOWEVER, I will not be back inside staples center anytime soon. IF they get their S together and salvage a partial season I WILL NOT be in attendance this year, next year, and maybe even further in the future. Unless I somehow come upon a free ticket, I will not be going. Even then, it'd have to be the right circumstance. And I will not be buying ANY consessions.
I refuse to buy NHL branded merchandise as well. I have told all family etc to please not buy me any NHL merch. In fact over the last month or so I have done everything possible to NOT wear any NHL branded gear. I'm not advertising for an organization who could give to S***s about me, their customer.
So believe me, it's going to be YEARS before I pay dollar 1 on the NHL or anything they represent. The last items I bought were the kings champs book/dvd, and champs gear back months ago... That will be it for a LONG time.

I feel like the lack of hockey this season is helping to mentally prepare me for when the Coyotes leave town for good. I haven't really started missing the NHL all that much yet, but I know that will change as soon as college football/NFL seasons are over with and Im stuck with the NBA every night.

^^^^THIS^^^^^ Once College football and NFL are over I'll really notice the lack of NHL. I will have zero sports to watch. HATE basketball...
