    Made it home in time to watch the game. I was very bitter yesterday and this morning. Funny how a Kings win just makes everything better!

    reasons why you should panic:
    -mitchell and greene out indefinitely
    -doughty playing 30 minutes a game
    -half the defense is rookies
    -gagne, penner and richards are nowhere to be seen
    -kings power play PW3NS
    -kings scoring on average -27 points per game
    -kings collapsing with 4.5 seconds left or less

    reasons to be optimistic:
    -kings won tonite
    -carter's hot (except when he's cold)
    -voynov is a russian fire-machine
    -we still have a solid backup goalie for when quickie goes on cold-streaks
    -jonathan quick
    -the team still has a residual sense of fearlessness and optimism from last season
    -mitchell will be back sooner or later
