i wonder how many new season ticket holders wont renew after this mess..

I am in this bunch or actually I am a returning season ticket holder because I had season tickets from 87-96 so this is the second lockout for me..I'm questioning wether I will renew because #1 we are paying full cost for tickets and #2 both sides have shown they don't give a hoot about the fans...Save your media shenanigans..Don't get me wrong I still love the Kings but question wether I want to be a season ticket holder again after this mess.Just venting but I've reached the point where I don't care anymore wether its been settled or not.We won't get to see the elite teams twice so the fans are just screwed ..

I wouldn't be surprised that most (if not all) the new season ticket holders we got during the playoff run already canceled their season seats since they only wanted Stanley Cup Finals tickets in the first place.

It's quite unfortunate though. We finally win the Cup and have all the attention moving forward... but with the lockout, all the focus is easily back on the Lakers.

Count me among the non-renewers. I just sent off a note to my rep asking when is the soonest I can get a refund on my 4 seats that I had since the last lockout. Before the playoffs started I was considering not renewing anyhow (then they had to go and win the damn cup). The cost of gas alone to shlep myself from Ventura is cost prohibitive enough and now this BS. I'm done with owners who seem to care more about my money than me as a life-long fan.

This entire situation makes me want to not even be an NHL fan anymore....that being said, I'm sure we'll keep our season tix.

Not to be overly nit picky, and I certainly understand and share your frustration, but I can't agree with this. Which "elite teams" are you talking about? You can't be talking about teams from the Eastern Conference since there's only one home game against any given EC team anyway. As far as the Western Conference, I think it's reasonable to characterize the defending Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings (still feels good to write that!) as an "elite team," and you'll get to see that team every game. Is the defending President's Trophy winner an "elite team"? We obviously don't know what the schedule will look like if there is a season, but I think it's reasonable to assume you'll see Vancouver more than once. How about the Blues, the Coyotes, and the Sharks? All are "elite teams" by any reasonable definition of that term.

That was a poor choice of words sorry.Detroit Blackhawks Rangers Capitals etc teams you don't get to see that often..

Hockey is very expensive.I am paying $76 a game in the 300 level and last season I found seats in the 300s for a lot cheaper.My Dodger tickets are a lot more reasonable.I still will go to games just not sure I would get the season package again..

I hope a mini plan will be offered again.I would have gone that route if it was available..
