Default If Mike Richards comes to Sept camp in great shape, how good could he be in 2014-15?

I think he could return to the 50-6o point range, by being sharper and stronger on both the PP and his line
    with Lewis & Clifford.
All of that also assumes Mike's physical game and defensive game are still formidable.

It seemed like he sort of did a "man-to-man" kind of agreement with DL (who is no softie), and promised to
be in much better shape next season. I assume that includes getting control of any "dry-island" issues that might exists also.

But I have no idea of what is really going on regarding MR & alcohol, because I no longer have my contact at Del Taco or Taco Bell.
    (Popeye's doesn't count).

But if MR comes back in top-shape in Sept, it will provide a big boost on top of everything else the team has going,
and the Kings will really be ready to rock in Oct.

    None of the above.

He will come into training camp as a recovering alcoholic. How can you expect any of the players to come into camp in tip top shape after a summer of celebrating with the cup?

He can drink every night if he wants, as long as he doesn't sit in a boat and fish all summer. It would be awesome if he stayed in LA and trained/pal'ed around with the boys, or at least Stoll.

It is crazy what a year can make. In just the regular body. As we get older the body just works differently. And for athletes it is magnified.

I am sure Richards will work with a trainer that specializes in this and he will be reviewing his style.

I look for him to rebound and be a 50 point center next season. Effective and efficient. And then ratcheting it up for the playoffs.

He should hire Gary Roberts as his trainer . There is no way Richards can be 50 to 60 point guy playing with Lewis and Clifford. I expect him to play 2 or 3 line and he shouldn't have problem getting 50 points
