Have they sold their souls to Ronald McDonald?
My daughter came up with this as a joke. I say McDonald's would probably like to have billboards of this all over LA. What do you guys think?

Hockey's original bad boy. The "Cowboy" Howie Young
I'm already getting tired of seeing the McDonalds **** everywhere. I get that its about money and they're donating to charities and all that. But its McDonalds. Its crap food that is making us the fattest nation in the world, killing people and helping give kids diabetes. Yes, I'm ranting here. Something like Chipotle would have been much better. It can be significanly better for you than McDonalds. And McDonalds already owns Chipotle. As an ex personal trainer, its just pisses me off to see the team selling its soul to McDonald's. Money talks I guess.

It's WAY too much. I'm sick of seeing that logo attached to everything Kings-related.
I wouldn't be surprised.
Might as well put the Golden Arches on the cup with the Kings' names.
Last season didn't seem to have near the commercialism of this season.
Of course, the Kings weren't nearly as popular back then.
Voicing ones love for the Kings would be met with blank stares or confusion.
I can't help but feel they're just the new fad.
Nobody cared for a long time.
Going forward, you gotta wonder if they keep up the success, how far this will go.
I can't help but think some of the charm of the community I grew to love is gone forever.
That being said, advertising doesn't work on me, so I suppose I can just ignore it.
... all though all of a sudden I do want a Big Mac.
You mean a Big Mick. Right ?
Wait. What ? Those golden arcs are not McDowell's ?
I feel so lied to.
Saw the same thing happen with my Saints (I'm from New Orleans, live in LA now) ... win the Super Bowl and all of a sudden people in L.A. are walking around in Saints gear.
Some of the charm is gone, but then again I didn't get here until '99 (when I started to follow the Kings) so I'm part of that group that takes a little of the charm away from the guys who have been following this team for 40+ years. That said, the die-hards will stick around regardless.![]()
not gonna lie, after being in India for 2 weeks and flying back there is a McDonalds in the terminal in Dubai and I'll be damned if I don't get myself some Americana.
Of course right after I hate myself but that's besides the point
Just my two cents. I am wondering if it is so heavy because of the money they lost this year. It is over the top.
