    I am pissed, just when Hickey was coming into his own DL pulls this crap. This was our franchise defenseman for the next 10 years. I am reconsidering my faith in DL. Hickey was only about three years away from making this club. You do not give up on a first round 4th pick this soon. This is incredible. I am not sure who to believe anymore. I am at a lost for words!

    I thought there was a "gentlemen's agreement" with this waiver period? Apparently not. It sucks that we'll not get to see Hickey come up as a King but Muzzin and Deslauriers have seemingly surpassed him in the Kings plans. Sometimes the whole peach fuzz theory in evaluating juniors doesn't pan out.
