hell yeah! lets get some brews
Anyone in San Diego area driving out to the game? Thinking about maybe going, would meet up in LA area to car pool.
i'm thinking about it, as glendale to glendale is 8 hours,k 360 miles, 720 round trip. my car gets 32mpg, 22.5 gallons at a cost of $84.50 and 16 hours of driving. however southwest airlines wanna get away fares from burbank to sky harbor are $75 each way. i figure tix will cost $20-30
For those of you wondering about ticket prices, I picked up tickets for tonight game vs Columbus, 4 rows from the glass (on the visiting shoots twice side), for $26 per ticket. Tickets for a saturday game vs LA will be a little more expensive, but that will give you an idea of what you may find if you wait until the day before the game.
Probably gonna go with a rental car for the trip, my friends and I are total cheapos when it comes to putting miles on our vehicles. Any recommendations for the best car rental co? Haven't done it in more than a few years
3 of us in 120 row C for $35 each.
search expedia, rent from an airport (burbank or lax is good) for speed and convenience. you can get one for $10 a day economy class plus airport fees. you can get a car that does 40mpg with cruise control and you're good to go. i used to do la to phx with rental ford fiesta that gets 40mpg
Sweet. Just found out I will be there. 26nd is my wife and I 22nd wedding anniversary and just found out she bought us tickets to the game. Heading there now. On the 10 freeway. We will be sitting in section 202.
