Thread: Jersey Framing/Hanging

I have 3 autographed kings jerseys and its time i put them up instead of spilling beers on them at the game. Can anyone help me out with some ideas about how to frame and what to use. Im looking for a cheap way to do it. I do not want to go spend hundreds at custom frame shops. Please let me know about any ideas for putting them on the wall frame or no frame. Thanks my fellow kings fans!

Wait for a 50% off sale at Michael's, buy three frames, and hang them yourself.

I think michaels is always having a clearance sale on frames. If you live near one, just swing by. Whenever I go to buy frames theyre always 40% off. They also have sales on custom framing too.

This ran me about $250 to get done.



This one was about $350

michaels has an app that sends you updates on store discounts as if it was a text message. usually once every two months they have a 20% off sale in store that can be doubled with a 50% off one item coupon. i bought a jersey shadow box for 40 bucks.

Check out Amazon.com. They have Jersey frame boxes pretty cheap.

I didn't want to frame my jerseys because I still want to wear them, so I hung them in my living room.

Regular coathangers are a bit to small to use on jerseys, the shoulders don't look broad enough.
There are special coathangers for jersey display, but I didn't really see the point of spending $20 on coathangers, so I came up with a DIY solution:

I took regular coathangers (metal hangers look better) and fixed some small 2.5 inch plastic tubes I had left over on either site with rubber band. Put the jersey on, adjust the sleeves, looks preatty neat-o.
