Well, at least he's in the area in case the lockout is called off.
How about this f'n furniture?
He will still make it to Vegas in time for our Oktoberfest celebration!
Damn it. You got my hopes up when you first typed Monrovia. I'm like 2 minutes way from that store.
Sorry. RR fixed it.Quote:

Not a very good idea It was a nightmare. Hopefully that will not happen again. From past experience how it usually works is a employee will walk down the line and put the wristbands on those waiting in line. Other than that it was very organized. The signing that day started at I think 11:00AM and I did not get to the front of the line until about 12:30. I got there at 5am and got in line and there was already many in line and as it got closer to the time when the signing was to start many arrived and joined their friends who were saving them spots in line.
I like collecting autographs and meeting the player and it was great meeting Kershaw but sometimes it is not worth all the trouble and nonsense you have to put up with while waiting inline. For example it is very rare when a player does a signing near where I live in the South Bay. I think it was August of last year Matt Kemp of the Dodgers did a signing at Living Spaces in Torrance. So I figured why not drive by and see what the line is like since it was a stones throw from me. I got there and joined the line. I don't think I was there 5 mintues and there were for lack of a better word 4 "Gentelmen" to the right of me and I think every 2nd or 3rd word out of their mouth was a "F" bomb or a "S" bomb and they were quite loud as well. Nobody should have to listen to that. Then to the left of me was a young woman who started smoking not 2 minutes after she arrive and the smoke was going right in my face. I really wanted to say somthing to the foul mouths and the smoker but when you go to an event like this I think it is best to not say anything you don't know who you are dealing with. I lasted about 15 mintues with the foul language and the smoke going in my face and I left. So after that it kind of soured me on going to an event like this. I would love to go this Saturday and meet Jonathan Quick and it is rare when I do have a weekend off from work but I am just not sure it is worth it from past experience at event like this.
He should be in Vegas that day not signing autographs in La Mirada. Can't support the NHL or any of the Kings at this time.
