Williams started to show some flashes of little plays in the offensive zone. Richards had I think one nice touch pass down low. Overall both their games are suffering badly. I'm still pissed Richards was the forward that caused that 4-3 and then was the forward out there when they scored.
Brown has been so bad that it's hard to figure out what's wrong there.
Carter is the only one of the top 6 forwards that's been solidish. He's been getting back through defensively and showing speed offensively. Having Clifford get him some pucks made him really stand out more. You could tell too that he felt awful about that late trip.
On D Slava Doughty have both been solid the whole time. Really liked Marty's play on Hall late in the third. Scuderi is getting back up to speed quickly too.

Still this team overall only barely started to show some semblance of system play in this their third game. Other teams are getting by on getting to the puck while they remember how to play and this team hasn't felt the need to do that yet. Makes me worried.

Pretty much agree with everything. Those two off the posts were killers for Kopi.

But it seems clear this team is missing Greener and Mitchell.

Exactly, as I said in the other thread, the 2nd home game is the key for me, I am fully expecting the Yotes to run the Kings on Saturday, hence why I decided to change the lower control arms on my wife's car rather than drive out to PHX.

did you also do the alignment afterwards? most lca's have a special bolt on them which adjusts the car's alignment.

if the kings fail to show up by the second home game, are you going to judge them?

Guys...DD2 has been stepping it up. Did you all see him on the 5 on 3? He was almost beastly. Doing FAR more than anyone expected. Guy has been very solid on the blueline, makes the simple/smart play, almost always in the right position, making some good outlet passes AND is watching Muzzin's back when Muzzin jumps in the play. Give the guy some credit.

Who's are captain again? The guy that likes to throw hits? I miss that guy

Sorry...lost my mind there for a minute due to lack of Kings scoring. How about....I would love to see some great highlights from ANY of the Kings! Tomorrow night...at least 2 of the week's top 10 goals come from the Kings!
