Even when not playing, he was a huge part of that lockerroom. I know I'll miss catching up with him every year.

I got into a full-on fist-fight brawl with him... he ended up landing 5 upper-cuts on me... but it was close. And I will always cherish the flip-book I got from it at the Tip-A-King event

I was able to talk to him a bunch... he was soooo nice (almost too nice to be a fighter... if you know what I mean). I asked him... "Hey Westy, if you could fight anyone in the NHL... who would you like it to be?"

His answer was.. "oooh... that's a tough one... hmmm... I'd have to go with...

.
.
Chara!!"

Nice choice
