They broke some records in the 2012 playoffs as well, didn't they?

New Jersey, in 2003, had 7 shutouts.

I'd like someone not as lazy as I am to list the 2012 records as well. Don't forget the 30+ games in a row where they allowed 3 goals or fewer, I believe. That's pretty impressive too.

The Kings may have "Epic" beat.

    I'd call it...
    Unparallelled.

Not really sure. They set a bunch of records in 2012 as well, but maybe not as many (?). Either way, this team is amazing.

What I thought was funny is that they went from fewest games played to win the SC in 2012 to the most games played to win the SC in 2014.

And, don't forget, the FIRST team to win a Stanley Cup in 2014!

A record highly unlikely to be broken anytime soon.

I'm surprised you left off your list what most consider to be the best accomplishment this playoffs - winning 3 game 7s on the ROAD.

Also shut up all those critics who said the 2012 run was a fluke because it was easy run to the top. Most of the critics being fans of teams the Kings took out this playoff run.
I preferred everything about the 2012 run up to the last 30 seconds of game 6 against the Devils, I loved the fans reaction, but Bob had way to much time to think about what he was going to say, this year it was a pure spontaneous out burst.
