With Mitchell, Greene and Martinez out, who'da thunk it? I'm really impressed with the results of Voynov, Muzzin and Ellerby. The W's keep coming.![]()

As long as the O is doing its job, the Kings are going to be fine, especially with Bernier proving to be worthy of a started job. And since this team is practically the same offensively than last year (or maybe even better on back end) and how it seems they finally got back on last season's track (well, maybe not fully performance-wise, but the wins are here, so it's a start), I have high hopes for this season.![]()
And that Quick guy has been alright. Bernier too
See you are an optimist saying 4th best. I am a pessimist so I say as far as GA they are 27th worst in the league.
The real worry is the playoffs, assuming they make it in. You can get through the regular season without some key guys, but teams tend to zero in on that weakness in a 7 game series.
I didn't know Georgia had a hockey team, let alone 4! :P
Agree, the team that is the healthiest usually wins. Look at the Kings run, Vancouver-injured, St.Louis- injured, PHX- pulled vagina, NJ- banged up..... (I am not taking anything away from what the Kings did, just looking at the facts).
Injuries play a major factor in the playoffs. I suspect Mitchell may miss the season, don't know why but it feels a lot like Allison and Deadmarsh.
