I will never forget Brian Benning because he was involved in one of the funniest sequences I've ever seen. He broke his stick during play, and then took an opposing player's stick away from him. Played with it for a bit and went to the bench to change, still with the other guy's stick. The guy was so mad, he almost went into the Kings' bench to try and retrieve his stick, punched Benning as he was getting on the bench and got a minor for roughing to add insult to injury.

EDIT: Googling it, it appears Benning got Peter Stasny's stick when he was with the Nords, but I could find no video.

Still just a kid from a stay at home D-man perspective. This might be a steal. Hopefully he cracks the lineup ASAP.
