I heard Ellerby actually called Aki Berg and asked if it was ok to use his number.

I wonder if Ellerby's signature move is also going to be falling on the puck for a whistle.

I'm fine with this. It is essentially Loktionov for Elleryby. Kings have more then enough depth upfront, and could use a 7th d-man.

Just wondering... Seeing Rawley19's photo of the '74/75 team caused me to think if anyone has worn #2 for the Kings since Terry Harper. I don't remember.
He sounds like a bit of a tough guy....should have given him #33

More like a 5th D-man....at least 2 or 3 "D-men" have not been pulling their weight out there!

24yr old Keaton Ellerby is a defensive defenseman that has size, grit, not afraid to drop the gloves when needed, and likes to throw his weight around (that's for sure).

I think he will learn a lot from the Kings to help improve his overall game. M. Greene and Mitchell when healthy can teach him a thing or two for sure.

Drewiske days MAY BE numbered with the Kings, we'll see.

Here is a somewhat insight from a Panther fan on Ellerby, who posted this on Youtube not too long ago.
