Thread: Kings in Europe?

(Sorry if this has been discussed in another thread.)

So which Kings have been playing in another league? Kopitar has been in Sweden. Voynov, King, and Nolan have been playing in Manchester. Any others?

And if you wish to discuss it a little deeper, which conference opponents have been active in other leagues during the lockout? I guess I'm trying to gauge the comparative readiness of teams within the Western Conference.

Feel free to give your thoughts about which teams might be the most up-to-speed.

Brown was in Switzerland. Martinez was in Finland for a while at the start of the lockout, but then came back to NA. Clifford has been with Ontario in the ECHL, and Lewis played a few games with the Utah ECHL team. I think that's it. Don't know about other teams' players.

Bernier has also been playing in Russia I believe.

Looks like Germany, actually. Here's a list on espn.com of NHL players who have been playing overseas. Doesn't include NHL players playing in other NA leagues.

That's right, I forgot. He was playing in some 2nd tier league there.

Martinez is actually playing (post surgery) with the Allen Americans of the CHL since Jan 1st.
