Thread: Kings game at san jose thursday.

anyone going? Im making the trip up,never been to a game there before. Any tips? How is the san jose crowd? thx

San Jose crowd has been pretty tame in the past. I used to pick off my buddies season tickets and his neighbors were all good people. You can wear jersey, expect some taunting and whatnot. I will sadly miss this game right now. Too busy with a vacation coming up. I know there was a thread at the beginning of the season for all the NorCal people looking to get to this one.

The tank is great. I used to live up there and have caught many Kings games in San Jose. Of course there will be some friendly rivalry teasing (as there should be), but I wouldn't expect anything too crazy. It's a great area for post-game drinks too as there are many nearby bars.

I'll be making the drive from Reno. Got seats in Section 226 (Sharks tix are EXPENSIVE!). Probably get a few pregame brews at O'Flaherty's. Last time I was there the Kings won and a knucklehead threw beer at us after a Kings goal and missed me and hit my girlfriend. That was the lone time I've ever had any problems with idiots there though.

I will be there with my son and his wife. I know someone who works at the arena, and she said to avoid Sections 209 and 210. She also mentioned they always get a lot of Kings fans, rarely any trouble, but she also advised that if you are in the upper deck, not to lean forward. I've got seats in the lower bowl.
