As much as this 45 year Die Hard is loving the recent success of our Kings it hurts to see the treatment in a lot of area's go the other way when it is related to the faithful fans.

Are AXS fees better than Ticketmaster? Ticketmaster fees are simply blatant robbery.

The AXS fees appear to be somewhat higher than Ticketmaster for sports events. The AXS web site is very clunky and loads much more slowly than Ticketmaster on my computer.

Those issues aside, my biggest gripe pertains to what I believe is the single most important aspect of ticket buying... seat selection. AXS does not let you pick your exact seats like Ticketmaster does. Instead, AXS selects the seats for you, which I find totally unacceptable. Some people like to pick aisle seats. Some (like myself) do not like aisle seats. Some like to sit high in an area or section; some want to sit low. Some like sitting near an exit. Some (as Melissa mentioned) want seats that are adjacent or close to their season seats so that their friends can buy those seats and sit nearby. The AXS system will keep offering you the same tickets (without a change in search criteria) until/unless someone else comes along and buys those tickets.

As a season seat holder, if you are going to switch over don't do so until you have created a new system for us. Right now I have no account info to refer to. I have my monthly bill now past dues but there is no way to pay it. It's probably a clusterF over there for the reps but why do so until you are ready?

Ticketmaster's "service" fees were BS, but at least the seat map feature for selection purposes actually provided some semblance of a service. AXS does absolutely nothing for you.

After being gouged by Ticketmaster since the days when I had to wait in line overnight at a MUSIC + to HOPE to get concert tickets and then be sat wherever they put me...
I'm going to wait few months before I start crying all over my keyboard about the AXS thing. I'd rather give them a chance and see if they fix things than to stay with a company I have hated for the better part of my life. As of now...it is not that big of a deal. If the service doesn't improve by the time the season starts...then we riot.

#$%^& I remember how angry I was when they implemented the "random wristband" process at tower records
