If the dude's willing to sign for around 1 million... sure.

Sign him! But only if he's guaranteed to score the GWG in 3OT of game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final vs. the Rangers.

I have no idea at all if he can still play at all. I assume he hasn't completely forgotten how to play and can still be a bottom pairing D-man, so I guess the only question is what would be the cost?

Not exactly "kicking" the tire, but a good summation of Redden's hockey career, none the less.

I think someone will want to 1) pay more then the Kings should and/or 2) be able to offer him more ice time. He is kind of a question mark. It will be interesting to see how he does this year.

Some on HFBoards were really down on his performance in the AHL...but if he were to sign a 2 way deal for cheap it would be low risk gamble knowing we could send him to Manchester.

I would bet he'd take less money for a one way deal. I'm sure he wants to stay out of the AHL...

Its not like he hasn't played in 2 years, he was just buried in the minors cuz the Rangers gave him a ridiculous contract. He's probably still a decent 3 pairing guy that gets 2nd pp unit time. Being that he is already getting his ridiculous salary from the Rangers, he should be willing to work cheap.
