Kings of Ontario
I'm not much of a research/stats guy. But I'm curious to know, which team has the most players from Ontario Canada, currently active on their roster.
I know the Kings have 9.
I took a look at other Ontario teams like Ottawa and Toronto and they have less than the Kings.
So which team in the NHL has the most Ontario Players?
I believe the best players in the NHL come from Ontario and I'm curious to see if we have the most players from Ontario in the league.
p.s. I'm from Ontario lol!
It just hit me this year because we've taken part in Cup win celebrations with, Clifford, Westgarth, Doughty, Carter, Nolan, Muzzin, Pearson, Toffoli in the last 3 years.

I don't know about the makeup of other teams, but it was interesting the Kings drafted 7 players from the Ontario Hockey League this year alone. Some teams had 5 draft picks total.

I kinda of manually looked at a few teams and it's interesting to see that so far, the two teams in the East coast who have the most Ontario born players are Boston and NYR.
San Joses is tied with LA with 9 Ontario born players.

Ok I don't understand this 909 talk that took over the thread.
What I want to know is, do the LA Kings have the most Ontario Canada born players.
Let me remind you that some of the greats like Bobby Orr and Wayne Gretzky are from Ontario.

I was messing around, the 909 reference = Ontario, CA. (Inland Empire) area code!
