What did we learn from this ?
No confirmation on games schedules or what day is opening day.
No Ticket info for opening day .

Partners with Mcdonalds , OK good to get that exposure to more kids .
Donating 1 Million dollars to Ronald McDonald house OK nice.

What else ?
I would expect nothing less than spending to the cap if need be if you have a chance to repeat, so not really news
Oh right everyone who got screwed (fans , employees of the arena, people who work in the restaurants and bars nearby)

This was predictable. Not the lack of news in the Press Conference. Well that was predictable. But I'm talking about all the complaining about the Press Conference.

everyone looked miserable. useless reporters were useless. didn't really learn anything new. TL reminds me of my ex-boss who was always so upbeat, full of ****, and never answered questions directly.

but the charity donation is cool.

So is this really the press conference they're repeating on tv twice tonight and 3 times tomorrow?! Even big player acquisitions don't get that much coverage. I honestly thought the only things big enough for such coverage would be Bob announcing his retirement, or the team finding a new owner. Guess I underestimated McDonalds' influence.

Yeah, well, LGKers have never rooted for a Cup winner before, they're going to have to learn that championship clubs that stay that way are usually No-Drama operations. Boring is good.
