Basing how they would do in a lockout shortened season on how they did in an 82 game season is ludicrous.

I'm sure you could find the results on Los Angeles Kings. Shocking, I know.

Just waiting for the obvious Kopitar is invisible for a portion of the first 48 games post.

It's not ideal, to be sure, but the Kings have the depth to handle it. Their regular centers are Richards, Stoll, and Fraser. However, Trevor Lewis, Jeff Carter, and Brad Richardson can also play center. It will be interesting to see (If, of course, their is a season) how the line-up will be adjusted. That will be an interesting discussion if and only if the CBA is approved. For now, suffice it to say the Kings can withstand this injury, assuming it's not serious as reported.

The last 48 game season was 94-95.

    1994-95 Los Angeles Kings NHL Pacific 48GP 16W 23L 9T 0 0 41Pts 0.427Pts% 142GF 174GA 978PIM

Considering it was almost 20 years ago, there are all new players, a new coach, GM, owner, stadium, etc., that season will have a great bearing on how things go??????
