Detroit on back to back days... I see the Kings winning this one.

Yea.. Well I looked at it a couple of ways. Detroit isnt the defensive team that it once was. Now they dont know who is their #1 since both goalies have on and off nights. They lost to Columbus and Calgary( 2 of the worst teams in the West) They beat a Blues team that just lost Halak and are playing Elliot who isnt at his best either. Today they were able to beat the Oilers in a pretty tight game considering they were huge favorites.

Now the Kings arent playing very good but I am willing to lay money on them tomorrow thinking they will get out of Detroit with the W. Detroit is 15th with 2.7 goals per game and LA is 25 with 2.1. Detroit is 20th in goals againts with 2.9 and Kings are 22nd with 3. I really think the rest will benefit the Kings and with Detroit playing Edmonton who has very young players, they made the Red Wings run all around the ice. Also, the compressed season makes it even more of an advantage to have days rest since some players still arent use to playing on back to back days on such high level.

To conclude my argument, I will take an example out of tonights game in Montreal (where I reside), the Leafs destroyed the Habs 6-0. Habs played wednesday thursday and saturday. They had no gas in the tank and lost all of them. I can see the Kings managing a win here.

Watched the whole game... and that Grabovski bite on Max Pac

I really hope we dont continue to suck in morning games like the past few years
