There are quite a few places nearby. You can walk to JT Schmidt's across the street. A long block to the east there is the Lazy Dog, King's Fish House, Acapulco, Chili's, the Tilted Kilt, and a new brew pub whose name escapes me. If you go to the west side of the 57 there are even more places. If you are looking for decent dinner I'd choose the Dog or King's Fish House. If you are looking for pre-game happenin' bar for drinks, then JT Schmidt's or the Tilted Kilt. Post-game, the Cherry Pit to east down Katella!

Over by Katella and Disneyland Drive (West St) there is Marri's Pizza, went there quite a bit when I lived in Garden Grove, its changed a bit over the years, but the pizza the last time we had it was as good as ever.

Can you park your car in the Hooter's parking lot during the game?

Kings and only Kings Fish House will do. JT Schmidts is a zoo. Kings can be also, but at least the food is good.

Danny K's is good for free parking, it is about a 10 minute walk or so. I always park there, go in and eat, have a beer, and then walk over to the Ponda Center.

If I remember correctly, you pay like 5 dollars to enter that parking center near hooters and they let you leave your car there during the game.

Yup, but I think it was more like $10 or $12. Or you can get there 3 hrs before the game (before the parking attendants show up) and park for free if you actually go to Hooters. Or you can be sly...not wear Kings gear and tell them you're there to eat...but actually go to the game (after walking into Hooters because if you don't they could notice and tow your car).

The Tilted Kilt is now open right next to Lazy Dog Cafe and Kings Fish House. More to get your drink on and check out the view than to eat, though the bar food isn't bad.

If you're in Anaheim and aren't too concerned about being uber-close to parking and the Ponda, there's Downtown Disney about 3miles away. There's and ESPN Zone, a Rainforest Cafe, and the House of Blues. 3 hours free parking with validation from any table service restaurant.

On Katella by Harbor, right next to Disneyland there's a Bubba Gump and a Cheesecake Factory.

Across the street from Angels Stadium on State College is the OC Sports Grill.

There's a Hooters tucked in between Angels Stadium and the 57 off Katella.

There's Fritz's across from Hockey Giant off Katella...Gentelmens establishment...
