My current favorite threads are the GDTs, FOF and WTS.
Favorite thread of all time was a post Katrina thread that was completely derailed after one of the posters started bible thumping.

The first item bought by scanning its UPC code was a ten-pack of Wrigley's Juicy Fruit gum, purchased at an Ohio supermarket. It's now on display at the Smithsonian.
