It's torture to watch the NFL reg season, there are 32 teams in the league and every yr there are only 4 teams from each conference that are relevant, the other 24 teams just stink every yr , even if we did get a team, they will stink for a while, nobody will support them then they leave, this city has gotten 2 veryyyyy popular franchises ( dodgers/lakers) in all the US, besides, the USC trojans will make sure no nfl team would ever want to steal their spotlight .

The Vikings already have a new stadium deal. They will not be moving. It will most likely be either the Jacksonville Jaguars or San Diego Chargers. There is a possibility of the NFL expanding to 34. The only problem is what other city will deserve or get a new team.
NFL Commish Roger Goodell Says Expansion To 34 Teams Is Possible - SB Nation Kansas City
Apparently the city is going to issue $350 mil. in bonds to remove and relocate the convention center. AEG will otherwise front the rest of the funds to build the project through private investors. I have a feeling that after the project has been completed they will be asking for a part of the revenue that was increased due to the new construction like parking, hotel and any other increased tax revenue.
Field of Schemes: AEG: "New" city revenues would help fund stadium land
Not the Vikings. They have a deal for a new stadium in Minny. The NFL actually wants two teams in the LA market. The AFC team will most likely be the Chargers since the City of San Diego has no money and won't build them a new stadium. Outside shot at, wait for it....the Raiders. The NFC team will probably be the Rams moving back to LA. The deal they have with the City of St. Louis says that the Edward Jones Dome must be in the upper echelon of stadiums and it will cost hundreds of millions to put the Edward Jones Dome into that area. The Rams have an out clause in 2015 if the dome is not renovated.
Not the Rams ! I would rather see a new team by expansion that Los Angeles can say It's our team. How about a expansion team in Salt Lake City Utah ?

I think the Chargers are the frontrunner, even though the team execs deny they'd want to move to L.A., and the city supposedly wants them to stay. Even though they won't build them a new stadium...
The Raiders MAY be in the picture now, they've been going around and around with Oakland for a while, and they aren't going to put up the cash, either. Al Davis was vehemently opposed to returning to L.A. after they ****ed him the first time. He's gone now and his son Mark doesn't have the same ties to the city of Oakland... in fact, growing up, he had some of his best years in L.A. hanging out with Howie and Marcus and etc. They've already said that they NEED a new stadium and have even talked with Dublin (a small city south of Oakland) about their land.
I can also see the Rams moving back... for the same reason.
Weird how all 3 of the teams I mentioned were in L.A. already at one point or another (Chargers played their 1st season in the Coliseum)
