A great man, a cornerstone of the Kings organization, and I will never forget him as part of my life! Grew up listening to him, and words can't describe what a terrific effect he had on me and my love for Hockey!
I have never heard Staples as quiet as during that moment of silence... just the A/C running. Oh, and then that one ass in 327, but that was it. Great tribute. I also loved that they played DC's call of "Ladies and gentlemen, the Stanley Cup" when they brought it out to pass it around. He chokes up on the work "Cup", and that'll be a lasting impression for me. The last Kings game he calls, and they win the damn Cup.
