Don't vote for any other moments....just for the Kings!
So last night at about 2:00am the Kings were in 2nd place behind the Galaxy by about 110 votes. Since I was basically wasting time watching New Jack City (1991) while eating some Trader Joe's Curried White Chicken Deli Salad ($3.99), I figured it would be a good use of my time to enter enough votes to bump the Kings winning the Stanley Cup back up to #1. Yes, I was a little drunk, how did you know? Anyway, I was a clicking machine, and from the time Pookie gets killed to when Ice-T (I forget his character name because it's not something memorable like "Pookie") starts working undercover to infiltrate Nino Brown's operation, the Kings were vaulted back to their rightful position at #1.
The point of this story isn't to proclaim that I'm some kind of hero. No no, I'm no hero. No, it's just to drive home the point that the lockout is driving me crazy, to the point that I will voluntarily spend about half an hour clicking on a meaningless internet poll just to express my loyalty to my team because I have no other outlet. Yes, it's very sad.
Scotty Appleton? That was Ice-T's character's name? Now that's just stupid, are you telling me they couldn't think of a new name for his character once they cast Ice-T??? Also I apologize for the spoiler about Pookie getting killed, but man, this movie's 21 years old. It's as old as Jean-Francois Berube. I think the statue of limitations has long passed.
Important question, how is that salad, I have been pretty unimpressed with the Trader Joe's curries...
Anyways, a few votes from me also, the Kings now lead by over 1000 votes, and seriously, if anything else wins that vote then LA should lose it's voting privileges for everything.
Geez...that is a no-brainer. Kings 1st, Galaxy 2nd....most of the rest are just "headlines" and hype.

Voted a few times only for the Kings of course. Last check they were at 41.33% with 3,451 votes. Galaxy were 2nd with 26.88% and 2,243 votes. Keep stuffin boys!
