Let's just hope we don't get a defenseman out of Buffalo for him... It would be a steal...for BUFFALO...

I missed that goal. Glad I got to see it.
Also, Montreal has a horrible goal song.
He may just get called up for a stint if Stoll gets suspended for that hit on Fowler and Richards is watching from the pressbox.
Honnestly we cant keep getting forwards we have enough lets get a decent D. I keep hoping we get Dustin Byfuglien because he would do wonders with Drew
Whoa! When did Charlie Huddy come out of retirement?
Also Myers looking pretty JackJohnsony with that bad pinch.
Re: Loktionov - I've said all along, the best thing Lokti could have done (or still could do) for his NHL career prospects is to focus on becoming a defensive specialist. His skills are not lacking, and they're not going to go away. He does have the vision and intelligence to think the game and keep up with top NHL talent. As a shutdown center/faceoff specialist, he could actually make this team in a year or two. That would buy him some more time to bulk up and mature as an athlete. (Cue the "he's too small to play in the bottom six" noise.) He just plays small is the problem. Even once he starts scoring at the NHL level, he'll still need those defensive skills to stick at center, especially in the top 6. If not, then yeah, he'll probably be centering Moller and Holloway next year.
That would be nice but his price would cost a lot more then just a pick and Loktionov. Any realistic trade for someone good would likely involve Toffoli and we already got rid of Schenn and Simmonds for Richards, no need to get rid of another potential top 6 (maybe even top 3) forward. Not saying it would require Toffoli but Loktionov's value is maybe a 5th round pick if that.
