For the "look how far we've come" file

Every time I read this thread title I think of Brian Boyle playing as a defenseman.

I was in Atlanta on business and the Kings were in town so I went. Barry Brust started got shelled in the first period and then Fukifuji came in in relief and continued to be shelled. I want to say the score was something like 8-1. It was thoroughly embarrassing.

January 16, 2007 Kings lost to the Thrashers 6-2. Brust was pulled and replaced by Fukufuji after saving 17 of 20 shots.
