If only RUSH had Paul Rogers as their lead singer they would have been bigger than Zeppelin.

I don't need to listen to more than the 3-4 horrible pieces of auditory hell that were force fed to me ala Pirate Radio/KLOS 20-some-odd years ago. I've tried to listen to them, but all I hear are children screaming and I see visions of them stabbing themseves in the eardrum with chopsticks to end the torture.
Don't get me wrong, there are tons of people with bad taste in music out there. This band is proof of if.
If any of you are upset at ^this, lighten up Francis. I'm just having fun.

I did. As I was watching it, I was thinking it wouldn't be particularly funny to folks who don't regularly watch the show (as I do). And, as I suspected, we had already seen the bulk of Geddy and Luc's bits on the extended preview that had aired. I think the show got off track from the "who is the mother" storyline a few seasons ago (the first 4-5 seasons were the best, and the last few haven't been nearly as good), but I kept watching anyway.
I think it's been 18 times -- maybe a couple more. Almost every SoCal show starting with the Grace Under Pressure tour. The Time Machine show at the Gibson was my 10 year old son's first concert, which was REALLY cool.
Rush has 19 dates scheduled (9 in the U.S. and 10 in Europe) between late April and mid-June. From what I've heard, they'll take a few weeks off and then roll through some other U.S. cities (including at least one more SoCal date) over the summer. If you're not already aware of it, rushisaband.com is a really good site for advance news of this sort.
HAHA why am I not surprised this thread is primarily I hate Rush and How I Met Your Mother post.
I'm a regular viewer of the show and it was great.
I wouldn't have known but thanks to my wife telling me, the Robin Sparkles arc is an homage to Alanis Morrisette, including Dave Coulier denying it is him.
It's a very smart show with great writing, sure it can be tiring about Ted but I still enjoy the show. Plus I know a few people who work on the show.
Luc's acting was amazing ;-)
I love that they incorporated gameplay footage of Luc into the show. Now we all know Luc's secret![]()
