When do you think Jones will be given a start? I say let Scrivens play against the Blues, then give Jones a start ? What are your thoughts ?

Jones was the ONLY King that didn't suck tonight

The Calgary game would have a been good opportunity for the Kings to play Martin Jones. But DS doesn't think that way

Scrivens was solid for us so I give him the props that he is due but he might be a little shook up now. I think we need some fresh energy from Jones.

We all know DS rides one horse. This isn't new and shouldn't be a surprise.

One would think that Scrivens can't play every game in a condensed schedule for 2+ months while Quick gets well, but then one remembers Sutter is fish-facing behind the bench. Scrivens is going to play until he falls down and gives himself a concussion, which I think was exactly what he was trying to do.

Jones is going to take his turn on the left wing with Kopitar and Williams in the next game.

I mean even with the couple of fluky goals of late, Scrivens hasn't allowed more than two goals in 9 straight games since taking over. That super consistent play gives the Kings a chance to win every night, and if the power play was clicking at even a halfway-decent percentage we'd be something like 8-0-1 instead of 5-1-3 over those nine games.
