Well, he starts cracking up and says thats good and I took a really cute pic of them and Quick was still laughing:

Got cute pics with the others in line especially Westy and I shook his hand and thanked him for all he did. He had just got notice the CBA was ratified (I think I'm saying it right - lol) and was very happy. I'm glad I got this happy photo of us before he left!

We didnt' get any other pics or autographs since there just wasn't enough time. But I got the new book and CD and came home and watched the game again with Bob and Jim calling it. Like new! Of course I cried. :-)

This is the best re-cap of MTP. I love the story about the son's GF and Quickie - fits the pic really well!

yup. saw more than a couple kings that had purell at their tables. that's a lot of hands they shook yesterday.

We had a great time! I brought my home jersey to get autographed. I went to Brown, Scuderi and Frasier's section first and waited for about 20 min, then moved on to Clifford, Martinez and my favorite, Penner. He is so warm and friendly. He talked with us like we were the only ones he'd seen all night. We were there when they announced the Stanley Cup was here and they would be giving locker room tours, so we decided to go see the cup after Penner. Though my heart was set on seeing Stoll, I hoped we would have time to go after. Sadly all the players lines were cut off by the time we got out from seeing the cup. We left after that feeling pretty content. For as crowded as it was, it went well for us. The only regret I have is forgetting my phone at home and not making sure my camera was fully charged!

Same here stood in kopi line for 2 hours then they closed the line and night was over wtf... Should have closed the line sooner instead of making everyone wait in line. By time they told us no more people time was up. I got nothing signed my little girl was more than dissapointed she didnt get to meet anyone. Will never attend a mass scale event like this again. ****ing horrible.

This was my 3rd MTP, so I knew to get there at least an hour before the doors opened to make sure we could secure a decent spot in the lines.

We immediately hit up the Stoll/Richadrson/Carter line.. Stoll and Richardson were sweethearts as always, but Carter was just "meh", maybe because this was his first meet and greet as a King. The wait for this line was about 10 minutes.

We then hit the Clifford/Martinez/Penner line.. All nice guys..Martinez was way more chipper than last year..Penner still remembers my kid from an air hockey match they had at Tip a King last year!!! Wait time? 20 minutes.

Next we grabbed our free hot dog and soda and hit up the Bernier/Mitchell/Gagne/Richards line. This one was very unorganized and took us an hour and half to get to the guys, but the wait wasnt a big deal since we were fed and watched the Packers get destroyed by the Niners. Bernier, was sweetie, Willie Mitchell looked like the was having a blast and was so super nice, Gagne was great too and Richards has come a long way since last year, he seems more outgoing!! We joked around about how I always seem to get him at the last minute and he smiled and said "yeah, when I am tired and cranky"..He was extra patient with the fans and commented on my son's camera.

We got in line for the cup/locker room, but five minutes into it, they told us the line was closed.

For something that got thrown together in 4 days, it wasnt too horribly unorganized. Didnt care about the minor things, just happy to have the guys back!
